My 35-year career across West/Central Africa and Southeast Asia began in Mauritania, where I joined a humanitarian organization and later established a prominent national NGO specializing in social change. This eventually led me to join UNICEF, where for 13 years, I designed, managed, and led impactful Social and Behavior Change initiatives.
In every project, I strive to uncover not only the humanity in our work, and connecting with the people we serve, but to also bring it back to improve our own lives. As a photographer and filmmaker, I view the earth and its inhabitants as a canvas of art, capturing moments that reflect our shared human experience and the beauty of our diverse world.
All photographs in this website were taken in Mauritania during my work with NGOs in both humanitarian and development projects.
